Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Excavation & Utility Construction Foreman to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the daily operations and organization of a construction project, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Interpret project plans and specifications, schedule daily workflow and equipment mobilization, and communicate with job site superintendents.
  • Crew Supervision: Supervise crews consisting of two to six laborers and/or equipment operators, ensuring that all team members are working safely and efficiently.
  • Equipment Operation: Perform physical work such as heavy equipment operating, pipe laying, and labor, as well as perform minor equipment maintenance.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards, adhering to workplace safety and environmental practices.

Requirements

  • Pre-employment and random drug screening

Preferred Skills

  • Thorough understanding of both pipe and excavation
  • Thorough understanding of setting and checking grades
  • Proficiency at operating excavation equipment
  • Ability to read and understand construction documents
  • Ability to communicate respectably with customers and employees both verbally and in writing
  • Willingness to take direction and follow instructions
  • Physically fit with a willingness to work hard
  • Mechanical ability
  • Towing experience
  • CDL A is a plus
