JobsRUs is looking to recruit a Laboratory Technician for our esteemed client in Ontario, CA.

- Hourly Rate: $25.00
Working hours are from 6:00 AM to 8:00 AM.
Key Responsibilities:Educational Requirements:
High School Diploma is essential; a Bachelor's degree in Science is preferred but not mandatory.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in laboratory techniques is advantageous.
- Aseptic methods are mandatory.
- Strong organizational abilities are necessary.
- Attention to detail is crucial.
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Respirator usage may be required at times.
The role entails independent execution of laboratory tasks, including:
- Logging incoming production and raw material samples into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) for analytical evaluation.
- Preparing samples for both internal and external laboratories, as well as customer pre-shipment samples when necessary.
- Inspecting and compiling samples received from production to guarantee a representative sample for laboratory analysis.
- Reviewing raw material Certificate of Analysis data for accuracy before reporting.
- Cleaning laboratory glassware and maintaining the retention area for all laboratory samples.
- Ensuring data accuracy prior to reporting.
- Carrying out administrative laboratory tasks, such as updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Keeping supervisors informed about work progress and suggesting follow-up actions to address atypical results and any encountered issues.
- Analyzing raw materials, intermediates, stability samples, and finished products using various analytical and instrumental methods.
- Documenting all work in compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
- Maintaining, calibrating, and monitoring laboratory equipment, including incubators and refrigerators.
- Executing the environmental monitoring program.
- Conducting microbiological testing for ATP, environmental swabs, and allergen swab programs.
- Supporting the tracking of non-routine and priority samples to ensure reliable communication with both internal and external clients.
- Monitoring TrackWise Investigations and Deviations to ensure timely completion.
- Providing assistance in investigations as required and documenting results in TrackWise.
- Performing internal audits as assigned.
- Completing special assignments as requested by management.
- Offering support and backup for the release and rejection of raw materials and finished goods in LIMS and SAP.
- Assisting in generating the Certificate of Analysis for finished products and providing it to clients as necessary.
- Reviewing production potency adjustment reports to ensure accuracy and completeness of batch builds.
