Position Overview:
Compensation up to $33.48/hr* - Under minimal supervision, this role involves overseeing and engaging in the evaluation, upkeep, and repair of ride control systems to guarantee optimal and secure operations consistently. The position also supports the installation, modification, enhancement, and repair of Allen Bradley ride control systems utilized throughout the facility. Additional technical and supervisory responsibilities may be assigned as necessary. - *Based on expertise at the time of offer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that rides are serviced in accordance with manufacturer, company, and state regulations to maintain the safety of ride operators and guests.
  • Engage and communicate with various stakeholders including supervisors, park management, colleagues, subordinates, guests, vendors, contractors, inspectors, and others.
  • Utilize a range of supplies and tools, which may encompass computer and clerical supplies, electrical tools, meters, scopes, and other hand or power tools.
  • Operate diverse equipment and machinery, which may include vehicles, snorkel lifts, forklifts, computers, two-way radios, etc.
  • Refer to policy and procedure manuals, maintenance guides, technical documents, diagrams, blueprints, computer manuals, ride manuals, catalogs, and reference materials.
  • Prepare and/or process various maintenance documentation, shift reports, purchase orders, modification forms, estimates, contract agreements, schedules, etc.
  • Review and assess numerous records and reports including maintenance requests, maintenance reports, schematics, ride modification forms, purchase orders, equipment manuals, shift reports, safety sheets, downtime reports, contractor quotes, etc.
  • Coordinate activities with other departments and teams as necessary.
  • Oversee and coordinate external controls contractors as the Owner Representative, ensuring that new ride control systems comply with company and state or local regulations.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate documentation of ride control systems.
  • Coordinate and execute annual preventative maintenance of ride control systems.
  • Ensure the integrity of existing ride control programs and conduct annual checks for discrepancies in each ride system.
  • Maintain an updated working copy of existing control system software and stay informed about newer versions.
  • Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Proficient in using spreadsheet, database, and AutoCAD software.
  • Extensive knowledge of PLCs, motor drives, and display units is essential.
  • Must be able to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, in accordance with company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.
  • Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education, and personal references, in accordance with company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.
  • Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
