About the Role

Cencora is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Controls Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective use and functionality of automated equipment within our Distribution Center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance: Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues, including testing, replacement, or repair of electrical systems, motors, power supplies, and other equipment.
  • Equipment Testing and Maintenance: Test and maintain equipment and instrumentation systems, including electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, refrigeration, and water treatment chemicals.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Develop and implement effective preventative maintenance plans and schedules for all facility equipment and systems.
  • Materials Handling Equipment Maintenance: Diagnose and repair Materials Handling Equipment and Automated Picking System-related error conditions.
  • Inventory Management: Manage the inventory of spare parts and maintain the CMMS/EAM system on repairs required and performed on equipment.
Requirements
  • Education: Requires some technical vocational training or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Experience: Normally requires one to two years of related and progressively responsible experience, with a strong electrical background preferred.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Strong technical and operational knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment and systems. Ability to read and interpret CAD layouts, electrical circuitry diagrams, and drawings. Strong analytical skills and ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently.
