Overview:
Compensation up to $33.48/hr* - Under limited supervision, this role involves overseeing and engaging in the inspection, upkeep, and repair of ride control systems to guarantee efficient and safe operations consistently. The position includes assisting in the installation, modification, enhancement, and repair of Allen Bradley ride control systems utilized throughout the facility. Additional technical and supervisory responsibilities may be assigned as needed. - *based on skill at time of offer.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure rides are maintained in accordance with manufacturer, company, and state regulations to uphold the safety of ride operators and guests.
  • Engage and communicate with various groups and individuals, including supervisors, park managers, staff, co-workers, subordinates, guests, vendors, contractors, inspectors, etc.
  • Utilize a range of supplies and tools, which may include computer and clerical supplies, electrician tools, meters, scopes, and other hand or power tools.
  • Operate various equipment and machinery, which may include vehicles, snorkel lifts, forklifts, computers, two-way radios, etc.
  • Refer to policy and procedure manuals, maintenance manuals, technical manuals and diagrams, blueprints, computer manuals, ride manuals, catalogs, reference manuals, etc.
  • Prepare and/or process numerous maintenance reports, shift reports, purchase orders, modification forms, estimates, contract agreements, schedules, etc.
  • Receive and review various records and reports, including maintenance requests, maintenance reports, schematics, ride modification forms, purchase orders, equipment manuals, shift reports, safety sheets, downtime reports, contractor quotes, etc.
  • Coordinate activities with other departments and crews as necessary.
  • Oversee and coordinate external controls contractors as the Owner Representative, ensuring new ride control systems comply with company and state or local laws.
  • Assist in maintaining documentation of ride control systems.
  • Coordinate and perform annual preventative maintenance of ride control systems.
  • Maintain the integrity of existing ride control programs and conduct annual checks for discrepancies in each ride system.
  • Keep a working copy of existing control system software and stay updated with newer versions.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Proficient in using spreadsheet, database, and AutoCAD computer systems.
  • Extensive knowledge of PLCs, motor drives, and display units is required.
  • Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.
  • Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education, and personal references, per company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.
  • Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
