General Summary

The ideal candidate will be a proactive GPS technician, working closely with construction crews to ensure accurate site layout, stakeout, and data collection. This position provides an opportunity to engage with cutting-edge technology, including 3D machine control systems, data modeling software (such as CAD and Trimble Business Center), and GNSS equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate Trimble surveying instruments and software efficiently.

  • Follow detailed instructions and interpret construction plans accurately.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience in collecting topographic data, conducting volume calculations, and performing construction layout tasks.
  • Proficient in operating Trimble GPS Base and Rover systems.
  • Background in heavy civil construction, roadwork, or quarry operations.
  • Valid driving record suitable for insurance purposes.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or training.
