Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Psychotherapist to join our team at La Frontera Center. The successful candidate will work closely with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive mental health services.

About the Role
  • The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, including medical symptoms, history, and treatment related to psychiatric symptomatology.
  • They will be responsible for initiating, renewing or modifying psychotropic medications, identifying potential medical problems, and arranging referrals as needed.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team, and demonstrate cultural competence in caring for diverse client populations.
Requirements
  • A certificate as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner from the State of Arizona is required, along with at least three years of independent clinical practice experience post-PMHNP schooling.
  • Strong knowledge of psychotropic medications, including major risks and benefits, is essential.
  • The ability to integrate available data, interact with clients and staff, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment is crucial.
What We Offer

La Frontera Center offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a generous benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts, a 403(b) retirement plan, and tuition reimbursement.
