We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Health Specialist to join our team at Montare Behavioral Health.

Job Summary

The Clinical Health Specialist will provide community mental health nursing services, focusing on prevention, treatment, education, and rehabilitation of the physical and mental health of clients.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the healthcare team to provide direct and indirect care to patients/families/legal guardians.
  • Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary treatment team to develop and implement effective treatment strategies.
  • Administer health assessments and complete necessary forms.
  • Administer and read TB tests.
  • Refer clients to appropriate health agencies.
  • Provide health education on various topics, including general healthcare, medication, diabetes, safe sex, dual diagnosis, and nutrition.
  • Offer technical consultation for Mental Health Workers.
  • Observe medication procedures and make recommendations.
  • Provide one-on-one nursing counseling as needed.
  • Keep staff informed of potential client issues.
  • Document medical records as required.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • RN license within the State of Arizona is required.
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • One year of experience in the clinical specialty is preferred.
  • RN Registered Nurse License is required.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required.
  • Restraint Reduction de-escalation/crisis intervention experience is preferred.

Salary Information

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
