Job Summary

As a Bank Teller at Pinnacle Bank / Bank of Colorado, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and developing long-term relationships with our clients. Your primary responsibility will be to receive and process customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and cashing checks, while maintaining accurate records and ensuring the security of our customers' assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greets customers and handles paper and cash transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, cashing checks, accepting loan payments, and selling negotiable instruments.
  • Assists in granting customers access to safe deposit boxes when necessary.
  • Processes mail and night drop transactions.
  • Maintains files as required, including signature cards, night deposit logs, and mail logs.
  • Balances teller drawer at the end of each shift and performs other wrap-up work as needed.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements
  • Ability to maintain regular and reliable attendance and work flexible hours, including weekends (if the branch is open on weekends).
  • Skill in communicating with clients and coworkers in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Skill in operating computer workstations and printers, back counter capture machines, coin machines, and copiers.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Ability to demonstrate accuracy and efficiency in a high-paced environment.
  • Ability to function as a team player.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of bank products, policies, and procedures.
  • Knowledge of general banking principles, with a willingness to participate in educational opportunities.
  • Knowledge of basic math functions, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
