Job Summary

As a Teller/Account Specialist at Pinnacle Bank/Bank of Colorado, you will provide exceptional customer service and develop long-term relationships with our clients. Your primary responsibilities will include receiving and processing customer transactions, maintaining accurate records, and performing various customer service duties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and account openings
  • Maintain accurate records of customer transactions and account information
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to customer inquiries
  • Perform various customer service duties, including answering phone calls and assisting walk-in customers
  • Initiate customer research and process check orders
  • Closing accounts and processing customer account printouts
  • Sorting daily mail and assisting with NSF, Non-post, and collections
  • Assisting customers with Safe Deposit Boxes and deposit verification for credit purposes
  • Maintain customer accounts, including deposit accounts, CDs, Health Savings Accounts, IRAs, and other retail banking products
Requirements:
  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Minimum of 24 months prior bank teller experience or other related cash handling experience
  • Full knowledge of personal and business banking products offered
  • Basic knowledge of all banking regulations applicable to the job function and of all bank policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of general banking principles and a willingness to participate in educational opportunities
Preferred Skills:
  • Skill in communicating with clients and co-workers in a courteous and professional manner
  • Skill in operating computer terminals and printers, back counter capture machine, coin machine, and copier
  • Skills in effectively listening to customers and making appropriate referrals
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Ability to perform customer service duties and provide leadership and guidance to subordinate members of the department
