Office Support Representative

Job Summary
As a key member of the Dallas County team, the Office Support Representative will provide exceptional customer service to employees, departments, and the general public. This role involves receiving and processing a high volume of telephone inquiries, providing information and instructions, and referring complex inquiries to senior representatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and process incoming telephone calls and inquiries
- Provide information and instructions to customers
- Refer complex inquiries to senior representatives
- Maintain logs of activities performed
- Stay up-to-date with changes in procedures and related laws
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Two years of customer service experience or 30 hours of college credit
- Ability to type 15 wpm or 30 kspm
- Ability to maintain poise, tact, and professionalism in a fast-paced environment
Work Environment
This role is based in a standard office environment, requiring prolonged sitting.
