Job Summary

As a key member of the Dallas County team, the Office Support Representative will provide exceptional customer service to employees, departments, and the general public. This role involves receiving and processing a high volume of telephone inquiries, providing information and instructions, and referring complex inquiries to senior representatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and process incoming telephone calls and inquiries
  • Provide information and instructions to customers
  • Refer complex inquiries to senior representatives
  • Maintain logs of activities performed
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in procedures and related laws

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Two years of customer service experience or 30 hours of college credit
  • Ability to type 15 wpm or 30 kspm
  • Ability to maintain poise, tact, and professionalism in a fast-paced environment

Work Environment

This role is based in a standard office environment, requiring prolonged sitting.
