Job Description

Position Overview:

Oscar Associates Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Salesforce Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in APEX programming, Lightning Web Components, and systems integrations. As a member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions within the Salesforce platform to meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Develop Custom Solutions: Utilize APEX, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and other technologies to create custom solutions within the Salesforce platform.
  • Implement Systems Integrations: Integrate third-party applications and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware tools, and other integration methods.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
  • Provide Technical Guidance: Offer technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers on best practices for Salesforce development.
  • Code Reviews and Quality Assurance: Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines.
  • Platform Configuration and Customization: Work closely with the Salesforce administration team to configure and customize the platform as needed.
  • Troubleshooting and Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks within the Salesforce environment.
  • Stay Current with Platform Updates: Stay current on Salesforce platform updates, new features, and industry trends to recommend and implement improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer with a focus on APEX programming, Lightning Web Components, and systems integrations.
  • Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and II are highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in APEX programming language, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, SOQL, and SOSL.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi), and other integration technologies.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, security model, and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
