Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Specialist to join our team at Michigan Farm Bureau Family of Companies. As an Associate Life and Annuity Marketing Specialist, you will play a critical role in developing, implementing, and maintaining marketing materials and training for our life and annuity products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate as a Marketing Division representative on key corporate life insurance and annuity initiatives as a product and systems subject matter expert.
  • Represent both Home Office and Field Force marketing interests on assigned corporate projects.
  • Assist Life Operations in advanced product servicing, product development, product and policyholder service enhancements, and product pricing efforts.
  • Be proactive in assisting the Field Force on conservation of existing life and annuity business with Farm Bureau Insurance.
  • Provide sales support to all agents and Advanced Planning Specialists through creating and assisting in illustration and reprojections of life policies.
  • Provide tier 2 and 3 production support for life solutions, which includes illustrations, reprojections, e-applications, automated underwriting, and electronic delivery of life policies.
  • Generate sales leads and opportunities through CAPSIL queries, FB Cares, and Salesforce searches.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, insurance, business, or related field required, or equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Experience with life insurance and annuities sales, sales concepts, and product understanding required.
  • Strong computer skills and understanding of software development and quality assurance principals required.
  • Knowledge of various approaches to the marketing, sales, and distribution of life insurance and annuities required.
  • Active State of Michigan insurance license in Life required, or must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong project methodology, project management, business analysis, and testing is preferred.
  • Designation(s) in CLU, ChFC, FLMI or LIC preferred.
