Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic counsel to university leadership regarding developments in federal government and formulate plans aligned with institutional priorities.
  • Act as the university's representative to significant officials and stakeholders, nurturing relationships to enhance communication and influence.
  • Examine legislative proposals, devise communication strategies, and oversee event management.
  • Coordinate Federal Affairs initiatives across various departments to address the needs of the university community.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Preferred: Master's Degree; Required: Bachelor's Degree with 7 to 10 years of pertinent experience.
  • Experience on Capitol Hill with Higher Education Associations is preferred.
  • Lobbyist Registration is mandatory.
