About the Role:

  • Develop complex aerodynamic components, structures, and systems throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Responsible for all aspects of mass properties on aircraft programs, from preliminary weight estimation to final aircraft weighing.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary design and development teams to deliver innovative solutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or related discipline.
  • 17 or more years of relevant experience in the aerospace and defense industry.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
  • Experience with Computer Aided Engineering tools and Finite Element Analysis (FEA).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with wind tunnel and aircraft flight test.
  • Exposure to aircraft stability principles and control system design and analysis.
  • Knowledge of industry standard aerospace principles, including parametric design, model-based definition, and fundamentals of flight mechanics.
