As Principal Air Defense Systems Engineer, you will be using your skills and expertise to support the execution of a portfolio of Ground Based Air Defense programs within SNC's Mission Systems Integration (MSI) directorate. You will provide subject matter expertise to a product development team involved with the design and implementation of a Maneuver Short-Range Air Defense (MSHORAD) integrated system, as well as additional SHORAD related products. Your role will involve researching, architecting, modeling, simulating, testing, certifying, and improving cutting-edge products and services in the Air Defense market specifically focused on MSHORAD and additional solutions building a layered defense family of systems. You will develop complex system architectures within contextual modeling platforms, ushering them from operational concept through preliminary and detailed design, simulation, and test using progressive tools. As a cross-functional engineer, you are in charge of system-level ownership of new products and processes through the product lifecycle. The selected candidate will be one of the primary interfaces with the US Army customer and will also be a key contributor to customer technical relationships.
