Job Summary

AEG is seeking a highly skilled Senior Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our convention center, ensuring a safe and secure environment for our guests and employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and review the work plan for convention center operations
  • Oversee daily operation and maintenance of the facility and all systems
  • Work closely with the Events Department to advance and communicate event information
  • Develop pre-event department expense estimates
  • Oversee custodial services and manage in-house set-up and labor groups
  • Negotiate and administer contracts with outside vendors
  • Participate in budget development and forecasting
  • Act as liaison with City and State Services
  • Ensure Health & Safety compliance

Requirements

  • Bachelor's / Technical Degree in Facility Management, Business Admin, Public Admin, Engineering, or related field
  • 4-6 years of experience in facility operations management in a similar supervisory role
  • Staff management experience required
  • Industry experience in Convention Center / Hotel / Public Assembly Facility preferred
