Position Summary:

Express Employment Professionals is collaborating with a client to recruit a dedicated Senior Bank Teller. This role requires a proactive individual to lead the teller department while delivering exceptional customer service. Prior experience in banking is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service and Sales (60%):
    Process customer transactions including cashing checks, issuing cashier's checks, and selling money orders. Ensure compliance with identification protocols and provide a high level of service by understanding customer needs and identifying opportunities for additional business.
  • Staff Management (30%):
    Oversee the teller department's daily operations, including task assignments and resolving complex customer issues. Assist in training and evaluating teller performance, managing schedules, and maintaining equipment.
  • Cash Management (10%):
    Conduct daily balancing of cash drawers and perform monthly audits. Ensure adherence to cash handling procedures and monitor ATM cash supplies.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a banking or teller role is required.
  • Strong leadership and training skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in transactions.
  • Ability to promote bank products and services effectively.
  • Physical capability to lift and manage coin bags (up to 30 lbs).
  • Familiarity with banking software (e.g., EZ Teller, Navigator) is preferred but not mandatory.

Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM (rotating schedule)
