Senior Banking Executive Opportunity

Webster Bank is seeking an experienced Senior Banking Executive to manage and develop a portfolio of relationships with the defined Not-for-Profit Segment. The ideal candidate will provide loan, deposit, and treasury management solutions to drive business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain an extensive network of business contacts, community leaders, and executive management clients to generate revenue.
  • Maximize team profitability through the maintenance of a high-quality loan portfolio, responsible for relationship review and overall relationship profitability.
  • Support Team Leader/Senior Managing Director with growing/retaining relationships for targeted client group by coordinating and supporting all aspects of the relationship.
  • Develop and deliver effective proposals for presentation to existing and potential clients.
  • Exercise credit judgment consistent with department goals, monitor and evaluate creditworthiness of clients.
  • Lead team interaction with operations and product groups, plan and manage the implementation process of new products with clients to ensure smooth transition.
  • Responsible for negotiating loans according to established guidelines.
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of Commercial Banking experience managing middle market banking relationships.
  • Candidates with advanced degrees (Associates, Bachelor's, and/or Master's) preferred; a High School diploma or GED is required.
  • Knowledge of banking regulations, lending policies, procedures, and techniques, and a well-demonstrated understanding of loan risk factors is a plus.
  • Knowledge of credit and financial analysis techniques and accounting is a plus.
  • Exceptional business development skills.
