Patient Services Coordinator in Healthcare

Bonificación de $500 por firma - (Externos)Propósito: Recibe a los pacientes y a otros, programa citas y proporciona información precisa a los que llaman. Coordina las operaciones de la recepción para asegurar un flujo de trabajo fluido y una entrada precisa de los datos del paciente.Responsabilidades Esenciales: 1. Mantiene el área de recepción asegurando que todos los pacientes sean recibidos y registrados de manera precisa y oportuna. Al registrarse, verifica todos los datos demográficos del paciente y el seguro para garantizar la exactitud, escanea todos los documentos apropiados, incluyendo identificación, tarjetas de seguro y formularios requeridos. 2. Verifica todos los seguros de los pacientes en línea o por teléfono y cobra copagos y coaseguro. 3. Registra cargos y copagos. Ingresa información en una hoja de cálculo una vez equilibrado. 4. Proporciona los formularios necesarios para completar y firmar, revisa su exactitud y notifica al personal clínico cuando el paciente está listo. 5. Programa citas para pacientes y procedimientos necesarios. Mantiene el horario y lo revisa por cancelaciones. Confirma las citas del día siguiente. Recibe autorizaciones y completa todos los formularios requeridos. 6. Prepara los expedientes para que las enfermeras se preparen para las visitas de los pacientes. Procesa solicitudes de registros médicos. 7. Asiste a los médicos devolviendo llamadas a pacientes según lo solicitado, actualizando y manteniendo el horario del médico, y llamando a los pacientes con resultados de pruebas cuando se solicita. 8. Completa y revisa formularios de discapacidad y compensación laboral y obtiene la firma del médico. 9. Mantiene el archivo, la organización de documentos, el envío de fax y todas las demás funciones administrativas necesarias para esta oficina. 10. Realiza todas las funciones de mantenimiento, incluyendo el envío de paquetes de bienvenida a nuevos pacientes el día que se programa la cita inicial. 11. Mantiene y modela los valores de REACH (Respeto, Excelencia, Responsabilidad, Compasión, Honor). 12. Demuestra asistencia regular, confiable y predecible. 13. Realiza otras tareas según sea necesario. Requisitos de Educación y Experiencia:
• Diploma de Escuela Secundaria/GED o equivalente
• Se requiere 1 año de experiencia relacionada con el cliente
• Preferido: 1+ años de experiencia en el sector salud
