Position Summary

The Patient Coordinator will be responsible for welcoming patients, registering them in our system, handling payments, and performing various administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities of a Patient Coordinator

  • Register patients at the reception area.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing calls for appointment scheduling, cancellations, and confirmations, ensuring to match patient preferences with scheduling guidelines.
  • Collect and verify essential registration, demographic, and insurance details.
  • Handle multi-channel communications related to patient and physician inquiries.
  • Collaborate with team members to organize and prioritize daily tasks efficiently.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 1 year of experience in medical coordination or a related field preferred.
