POSITION OBJECTIVE:

The Retail Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in assisting the Store Manager to foster a customer-centric and product-driven sales environment. This includes overseeing sales activities, safeguarding assets, and managing human resources functions to ensure an exceptional customer experience and optimal profitability. We are committed to cultivating a workplace where our teams can thrive and develop.

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performance Management

Evaluates sales data and key performance indicators to identify business needs; collaborates with the Store Manager to implement effective sales strategies.

Sets clear expectations and holds the team accountable for meeting brand standards and performance metrics.

Manages payroll and inventory budgets effectively.

Oversees daily operational tasks such as scheduling, inventory audits, and payroll accuracy.

Ensures compliance with financial policies, including cash handling and transaction accuracy.

Maintains adherence to loss prevention policies and operational procedures through training and supervision.

Administers inventory processes, ensuring timely replenishment and organization of merchandise.

Upholds the brand's visual standards and store maintenance.

Encourages a high-performance culture, motivating the sales team to achieve sales and productivity goals.

Provides training and coaching to enhance product knowledge among the sales team.

Team Development

Inspires and motivates the store team, fostering a shared vision while exemplifying core values.

Encourages a collaborative approach to problem-solving.

Maintains open communication with the team and Store Manager to drive positive changes.

Seeks opportunities for personal development and actively seeks feedback to enhance leadership skills.

Customer Engagement

Models and promotes exceptional customer service standards, ensuring a seamless shopping experience.

Utilizes various sales techniques and product knowledge to assist customers in their selections.

Addresses customer concerns promptly and effectively.

Ensures a smooth checkout process, staying informed on policies regarding payments and returns.

Maintains consistent communication with clients through various engagement strategies.

Talent Management

Assists in recruiting and developing a high-performing team.

Supports training initiatives and follows up on development programs.

Evaluates and coaches team performance regularly.

Collaborates with the Store Manager to resolve human resources matters efficiently.

Recognizes and rewards outstanding team performance to drive engagement.

Ensures compliance with employment practices and policies.

Other responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School diploma or equivalent required.

2+ years of experience in retail management preferred.

Must be at least 18 years old.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Able to adapt to company-provided technology.

Proven track record in customer service and sales leadership.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.

Demonstrated leadership and team-building capabilities.

Knowledge of retail operational processes.

Ability to communicate effectively with customers and staff.

Regular attendance is essential to meet operational needs. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, is required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Frequent walking and standing throughout the shift.

Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.

Regular climbing as part of job duties.
