Job Summary

The Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets for the hotel. This involves effectively soliciting and securing new accounts, as well as growing existing relationships with key clients.

The Sales Manager will work closely with the Director of Sales to develop and implement sales strategies that meet the hotel's revenue and market share goals. This may involve conducting sales tours, entertaining clients, and negotiating contracts.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Attaining assigned sales and revenue goals
  • Conducting solicitation calls and sales tours
  • Growing existing relationships with key clients
  • Monitoring and evaluating market trends
  • Developing a full working knowledge of the hotel's operations and policies
  • Maintaining strong visibility in the local community and industry organizations

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous hotel sales experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
