The Franchise Sales Director is responsible for identifying and engaging qualified candidates for our expanding franchise opportunities, while driving unit growth for Kuraray America, Inc.

This role entails establishing processes and programs aimed at generating leads, screening, and tracking potential franchise partners.

The Franchise Sales Director oversees the complete franchise process, from lead generation to successful contract signing.

This is a full-time, exempt position, with a standard workweek from Monday to Friday.

While flexible work options are available, candidates must be strategically located within the company's operational footprint if working remotely.

Workdays and hours may vary to accommodate business needs.

Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with the VP of Franchise Operations to ensure that qualified leads are successfully converted into franchise partners.
Present franchise opportunities compellingly and favorably.
Develop rapport and trust with prospective franchisees, addressing their concerns while offering comprehensive support and business solutions.

Maintain strong relationships with current franchisees to assist in their expansion plans, providing options and resources within the Kuraray organization.

Invite potential franchise leads to participate in discovery days.
Organize and facilitate presentations during discovery days.

Keep the VP of Franchise Operations updated by submitting activity and results reports, call reports, weekly work plans, monthly activity summaries, and annual analyses.

Respond to technical and procedural inquiries from potential franchise business owners as needed. Articulate franchise brand offerings using marketing materials and other relevant resources.
Assess competitive scenarios, coordinate intelligence gathering, and implement necessary tactics.
Prepare and execute sales action plans.
Incorporate the values of Kuraray America, Inc.'s mission statement and core values throughout the sales process.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
Minimum of 5 years of experience in franchise sales with established brands
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven track record of successful sales, consistently exceeding targets, and working both independently and collaboratively
Proficient in MS Office and quick to learn new technology systems
Flexible schedule with the ability to take calls and work as needed
Occasional travel may be required
Strategically located within the company's operational footprint
