Job OverviewAs a Territory Business Leader, you will be a key member of our sales and marketing team, responsible for promoting our products and services in your assigned territory. You will work closely with our Clinical Diabetes Specialist to develop and execute strategies to meet and exceed sales goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and Execute Territory Strategies: Collaborate with our Clinical Diabetes Specialist to create and implement effective territory plans to drive sales growth and meet/exceed sales targets.
- Build Strong Customer Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers, including physicians, advanced practitioners, and certified diabetes care and education specialists.
- Drive Product Adoption: Promote the adoption of our precision drug delivery devices and services among healthcare providers and patients.
- Provide Expertise and Support: Offer expert knowledge and support to healthcare providers and patients to ensure a successful product experience.
- Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including customer care and sales support, to optimize the user experience.
- Represent the Company: Represent Sequel Med Tech, LLC. at conventions and educational forums to increase product awareness and drive sales growth.
- Manage Leads and Opportunities: Manage all leads and opportunities in our customer relations database and submit product training documentation as required.
- Stay Up-to-Date: Maintain a high profile with state and local patient advocacy groups and professional diabetes organizations to stay informed about industry trends and developments.
- Assist with Field Sales Training: Provide guidance and support to junior staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in their roles.
- Mentor Junior Staff: Mentor and coach junior staff to help them develop their skills and advance in their careers.
- Participate on Internal Advisory Boards: Participate on internal advisory boards with cross-functional departments to provide input and guidance on key business decisions.
- Lead Team Calls and Meetings: Lead weekly team calls, regional and/or area calls and/or meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration among team members.
- Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, marketing, or a life science.
- 2+ Years of Sales Experience: 2+ years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industries, with a demonstrated history of sales success.
- Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license to travel within the assigned territory.
- 4+ Years of Sales Experience: 4+ years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industries, with a demonstrated history of sales success.
- Experience in Diabetes and Selling Automated Insulin Devices: Experience in diabetes and selling automated insulin devices, with a strong understanding of diabetes therapeutics.
- Strategic Problem-Solving: Strong strategic problem-solving skills to develop and execute effective territory plans.
- Excellent Communication and Presentation Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate with healthcare providers, patients, and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and promote team collaboration.
- Strong Data Analysis and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills to optimize the user experience and drive sales growth.
- Ability to Execute Sales and Marketing Plan: Ability to execute the sales and marketing plan and manage territory budget.
- Ability to Commute and Travel: Ability to commute and travel within the assigned territory, with occasional overnight travel.
- Ability to Carry and Transport Professional Samples: Ability to carry and transport professional samples and literature.
