Job Title: Workday Systems Analyst

Join the University of Pennsylvania's team as a Workday Systems Analyst, where you will play a critical role in supporting the university's Workday system. As a key member of the Workday Operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of data and business processes within the system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide Tier-3 support for Workday support tickets, triaging issues that could not be resolved by the call center or business units and working with functional subject matter experts to resolve issues.
  • Develop, execute, and monitor mass operation processes to maintain data integrity in Workday, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement related to the efficiency, effectiveness, and integrity of the system.
  • Identify and investigate quality of data and work with relevant teams to resolve issues and improve processes, reviewing and monitoring business processes.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation related to system configuration and processes.
  • Support the development and delivery of end-user training and help materials to ensure effective system utilization.
  • Participate in system testing and validation activities, including unit testing, test cases, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Gather requirements from business partners and assist in maintaining and executing operational processes related to cyclical activities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science and 2 to 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Experience with Workday or a comparable enterprise HCM system is required.
  • Understanding of HR processes, policies, and regulations.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and organizational skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
