Position Overview

The Financial Strategy Analyst will play a crucial role within Caribou Services' Finance department, concentrating on establishing comprehensive financial objectives. This position will support informed decision-making related to strategic alliances, investment prospects, the development of new business avenues, and prioritization across the enterprise.

This role operates at the intersection of Finance, Strategy, and Operations, with backing from a top-tier FP&A and Accounting team, alongside various business leaders.

Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, this position will significantly influence the organization and provide substantial exposure to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

In this capacity, you will:

  • Collaborate with essential stakeholders throughout the organization to enhance financial transparency and apply robust financial principles to assist in establishing business priorities.
  • Develop and organize financial models to support new product initiatives and scale existing offerings.
  • Engage in strategic thinking and utilize insights from models to facilitate decision-making.
  • Ensure efficient capital allocation across operational departments and maintain sound capital management practices.
  • Work closely with the Accounting team to align with actual financial performance and identify emerging trends.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses and prepare regular reporting outputs for cross-functional teams and management presentations.
  • Support various investor relations, capital investment planning, and Board reporting tasks.
  • Assess the full spectrum of financial implications across Caribou's P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
  • Continuously enhance, innovate, and elevate analysis and reporting for key stakeholders.

This role may require occasional attendance at in-person team meetings.

Ideal Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in Finance within a high-growth technology setting, investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, or corporate strategy.
  • An MBA and/or CFA (either completed or in progress) is advantageous.
  • A solid understanding of financial statements and financial principles.
  • Proficient Excel skills and a data-driven approach to resolving complex financial challenges, with a keen attention to detail.
  • A critical thinker capable of articulating insights around financial data and making sound, data-supported recommendations.
  • Experience with data visualization and financial reporting tools such as Looker, Datarails, NetSuite, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite.
  • A strong sense of ownership regarding work quality and a history of independent project management.
Compensation and Benefits
