Position Overview

YOUR ROLE MATTERS:

We are seeking a Senior Audit Supervisor to lead and manage our client engagements while also supporting our internal teams and contributing to the growth of our firm.

In this role, you will be tasked with overseeing and evaluating the essential processes involved in planning and executing audit engagements for clients, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards. The Senior Audit Supervisor will manage client projects, foster client relationships, and serve as a mentor to internal staff, ensuring that high-quality work is consistently delivered.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Your regular responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Conduct and assist with audits, reviews, and compilations across various sectors
  • Oversee audits for both PCAOB and nonpublic entities
  • For nonpublic entities, provide nonattest services such as preparing financial statements
  • For PCAOB audits, supervise and review financial statements and assess internal controls
  • Assist in coordinating daily activities related to planning, fieldwork, and completion
  • Possess a thorough understanding of accounting and reporting standards
  • Establish reasonable time budgets and manage audit requests to adhere to timelines and client expectations
  • Engage with clients to ensure effective communication and information flow
  • Update clients, management, and directors on project status and any arising issues

QUALIFICATIONS WE SEEK

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years in a relevant role
  • Experience in public accounting or a similar professional services environment is preferred
  • PCAOB audit experience is highly desirable

Education:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent business qualification
  • A degree in Accounting is preferred (for Audit or Tax roles)

Licenses / Certifications:

  • Must hold a CPA designation
  • Must maintain the required Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits annually
  • Additional industry or specialization certifications may be necessary for specific roles

Legal / Compliance:

  • Must acknowledge and adhere to Independence Guidelines and Ethical Standards

This range considers various factors, including a candidate's expertise, specific skills, experience, licensure, and certifications. The estimated salary range for this position is $110,000 to $160,000.
