Job Responsibilities:
This role is accountable for supervising designated audit functions as an Auditor-in-Charge (AIC) and implementing the audit strategy for various Lines of Business (LOBs).
Key duties include:
- Executing risk-based auditing by establishing the scope and testing procedures to assess the control environment in alignment with audit standards.
- Evaluating issues for their impact on business operations and recommending appropriate severity ratings.
- Drafting comprehensive audit reports and managing relationships with business partners.
- Encouraging an inclusive work culture and mentoring team members.
This position is part of the Global Corporate and Investment Banking audit team, which encompasses audits for sectors such as equity capital markets, debt capital markets, investment banking, corporate banking, and leasing. The team also oversees audits related to credit risk management and global payment services.
The selected candidate will collaborate with teams across EMEA and APAC, as most audits are conducted on a global scale.
An Audit Supervisor is expected to lead audit projects and guide a team of auditors throughout the audit process. This role will also assist the management team with ongoing audit-related initiatives.
Key Qualifications:
- 8-10 years of experience in internal audit or front office control reviews within financial services, with at least 3-5 years in the banking sector.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Global Corporate and Investment Banking operations.
- Experience in risk and control identification and assessment.
- Proven track record in team leadership and project management.
- Ability to coach and develop less experienced team members.
