Position Summary:
As an Audit Manager focusing on the Technology and Professional Services sectors at Anchin, you will be pivotal in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our audit practices. This role entails managing client engagements and projects that deliver exceptional service quality. Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate detailed audit strategies tailored for the technology and professional services sectors, taking into account risks, regulations, and organizational goals.
- Conduct audits, reviews, compilations, and agreed-upon procedures with a focus on quality and compliance.
- Lead and mentor a team of audit supervisors and seniors, offering guidance on audit methodologies, risk evaluation, and best practices while promoting a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Facilitate the professional development of staff through training and mentorship.
- Oversee daily operations of the audit team, providing support on technical and industry-specific challenges.
- Identify and evaluate risks pertinent to technology and professional services, considering emerging trends and developments.
- Work with stakeholders to assess the effectiveness of risk management strategies and control frameworks.
- Present audit findings, recommendations, and risk assessments to senior management and relevant stakeholders, preparing clear and actionable audit reports.
- Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in audit methodologies, identifying opportunities for process enhancements.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is highly preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of audit experience, particularly in technology and professional services or related fields.
- Strong grasp of financial accounting principles and audit methodologies.
- Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to critically assess and resolve complex issues.
- Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards in technology and professional services.
- Proficient in audit software and Microsoft Office applications.
Compensation:
- Competitive annual salary ranging from $130,000 to $180,000, commensurate with experience.
