Job Title: Marketing Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Coordinator to join our team at Checkbook. As a Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our social media presence, email communications, and digital advertising.

Checkbook is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping consumers find quality service at reasonable prices. We publish unbiased ratings and undercover price research on various services, and expert advice to help consumers make informed decisions.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and enhance our social media presence across multiple platforms.
  • Develop and implement email marketing campaigns to engage with our audience.
  • Manage and optimize our digital advertising efforts to reach our target audience.
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement marketing strategies that align with our organization's goals.
  • Monitor and analyze our marketing performance to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in digital marketing or communications.
  • Strong writing, editing, and content creation skills.
  • Understanding of audience segmentation, user behavior, and data-driven marketing strategies.
  • Knowledge of HTML and content management systems like Wordpress.
  • Video editing skills (preferred).
  • Knowledge of marketing automation platforms like HubSpot (preferred).
  • Previous nonprofit experience (preferred).
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary range: $59,000 to $69,000 based on experience and qualifications.
  • 11 paid holidays plus your birthday, 120 hours of vacation per year (accrued biweekly), and 40 hours of sick leave per year (accrued biweekly).
