Position Overview
As a pivotal leader within CLevelCrossing, the Senior Vice President of Public Policy will spearhead the organization’s legislative and regulatory initiatives at the local level. This role is crucial in aligning our corporate strategies with government regulations and ensuring compliance across various jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities
1. Provide strategic direction and support to CLevelCrossing's management to maintain robust government and regulatory policies.
2. Oversee compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, ensuring all activities align with legal requirements.
3. Manage local legislative initiatives, communication strategies, and campaign efforts to promote organizational goals.
4. Collaborate closely with the Vice President of Regulatory Affairs and the Manager of Regulatory Affairs to ensure cohesive operations.
5. Engage daily with the Senior Director of Community Affairs to keep the Local and State Government Affairs teams informed of ongoing initiatives.
6. Maintain constant communication with the Public Relations team to integrate Government Affairs into our broader communication strategies.
7. Work alongside legal teams to manage contracts and agreements related to regulatory processes.
8. Assist in the formulation and oversight of the Government Affairs budget for the division.
9. Guide Government Affairs Consultants to align their efforts with organizational policy objectives.
10. Cultivate and sustain relationships with key government officials and regulators at the local level.

Qualifications
