Texas Children's Hospital is in search of a skilled physician with a distinguished clinical background to join our Neonatology department as a leading physician.

The Neonatology Division at Texas Children's Hospital is on the lookout for an outstanding medical professional to take on the role of a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Physician.

Our forthcoming state-of-the-art hospital aims to enhance healthcare access for children and women throughout the region. This position offers a unique chance to be part of the inception and growth of a brand-new medical facility dedicated to serving the expanding population.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Champion quality and safety initiatives, uphold clinical excellence, and engage in both clinical and administrative roles within the division.
  • Play a pivotal role in the establishment and development of the facility, which will initially feature 12 designated NICU beds.
  • Manage complex neonatal cases in the NICU, supported by advanced fetal interventions and a specialized high-risk delivery unit, along with comprehensive pediatric sub-specialties.

Candidate Profile:

  • Demonstrated experience in a neonatal intensive care setting handling intricate neonatal cases.
  • Preference for candidates with level 4 experience, as the facility will be one of the few level 4 centers in the area.
  • Ability to thrive in a new campus environment within an established healthcare system.
  • Proficient in labor and delivery as well as neonatal intensive care settings.
  • History of research involvement and published works is advantageous.
  • Open to candidates at various experience levels.
  • Must possess an M.D., D.O., or equivalent degree, and be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
  • Eligible candidates must hold or be able to obtain an active medical license.
