The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in executing intricate interventional endoscopic procedures and a commitment to enhancing pediatric gastrointestinal health.
Our state-of-the-art medical facility is designed to improve access to exceptional healthcare for children and women. This position offers a rare opportunity to contribute to the establishment and growth of a new medical center dedicated to serving the expanding population.
Key Responsibilities:
- Focus on clinical responsibilities with an entrepreneurial approach to develop innovative programs.
- Perform a variety of advanced interventional endoscopic procedures in pediatric patients, utilizing the latest techniques and technology, including but not limited to:
- Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP)
- Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS)
- Endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR)
- Endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD)
- Balloon-assisted enteroscopy
- Endoscopic hemostasis
- Foreign body removal
- Endoscopic dilation
- Percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG) tube placement
- Endoscopic cyst gastrostomy
- Endoscopic variceal band ligation
- Other complex interventional endoscopic procedures as necessary
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of pediatric specialists to formulate and execute comprehensive treatment strategies for pediatric patients with complex gastrointestinal conditions.
- Practice independently while benefiting from the support of fellow physicians and the extensive expertise available within the organization.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of three years of experience in Clinical Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition.
- A pioneering spirit, adaptable to the challenges of initiating and developing a new program.
- Completion of advanced fellowship training in Pediatric Interventional Endoscopy or equivalent experience.
- Proven proficiency in performing complex interventional endoscopic procedures in pediatric patients.
- Eligibility for or possession of an active medical license.
