Job Summary

Human Options is seeking a skilled Information and Referral Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing registrations, information, linkages, and referrals to families in need of basic services, mental health support, case management, housing, and other essential resources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to client inquiries and provide appropriate resources and referrals.
  • Assess clients' immediate needs and connect them with relevant services.
  • Perform outreach to the community, businesses, and schools to promote Human Options' services.
  • Administer approved measurement tools and enter results into our database.
  • Organize and distribute emergency assistance supplies and receive public donations.
  • Perform administrative duties, including data entry, record keeping, and answering phones.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
  • Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic work environment.
  • Knowledge of domestic violence, child abuse, and elder abuse issues.
