POSITION SUMMARY:

The UHV Area Manager is accountable for overseeing operations and client relations within a designated market area. This role is crucial for ensuring the financial viability of the customer base while maintaining safe and efficient work practices among all personnel. The manager will provide essential support to team leaders and employees, addressing any issues that arise.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with corporate and area teams to establish both short-term and long-term objectives that align with the company's financial and operational goals.
  • Adopt a hands-on management approach, engaging with the team regularly to foster a collaborative environment.
  • Support staff by addressing operational needs, resolving issues, and conducting routine audits and inspections.
  • Promote and uphold company standards regarding ethics, environmental practices, safety regulations, and financial accountability.
  • Communicate effectively with area employees regarding policies, procedures, and company objectives to maintain high morale.
  • Guide managers and supervisors in achieving business goals and budget compliance, ensuring cost management and growth targets are met.
  • Monitor performance metrics against budget KPIs and develop actionable plans for areas needing enhancement.
  • Ensure adequate staffing and expertise within the team, overseeing recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Implement and sustain operational improvements as planned.
  • Enhance communication and reporting accuracy while ensuring timely data collection.
  • Maintain a robust accident prevention program, prioritizing a safe and productive work environment.
  • Build and nurture strong business relationships with clients, aiming for the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Engage professionally with customers, vendors, and community representatives.
  • Perform additional job-related tasks as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Strong planning and execution skills for operational improvements.
  • Financial acumen to make informed decisions aligned with company objectives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact across various organizational levels.
  • Capability to analyze and interpret financial reports and business documents.
  • Familiarity with DOT, OSHA, and related regulations.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education: High School Diploma or GED required; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business, finance, engineering, operations management, or a related field is preferred.

Experience: A minimum of 5 to 7 years in management roles, with relevant experience in operations, sales, or finance. Significant exposure to manufacturing and construction environments with a focus on health and safety is essential. Prior experience in the industrial cleaning sector is advantageous.
