Position Responsibilities

As a Pile Driver, you will be tasked with the installation of various types and sizes of piles, both on land and near water, including pipe piles, H piles, and sheet piles. Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the Foreman or management as needed.

  • Project locations will vary, requiring reliable transportation and a willingness to travel as necessary.
  • The primary focus of our operations is in Southeast Wisconsin and Madison, with opportunities throughout the state.
Candidate Requirements
  • Possession of a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
  • Dependability and punctuality are essential.
  • Able to work flexible hours, including nights, early mornings, and weekends as required.
  • Capable of working in varying weather conditions and in potentially dusty or dirty environments.
  • Membership in a Local Carpenters/Pile Driver Union is required, or a willingness to join. Assistance with this process is available through our Human Resources Department.
  • Prior experience in bridge construction or general construction is preferred.
  • Familiarity with templates, pile driving equipment, rigging, signaling, cutting torches, welding, and drilling is advantageous.
  • Certification as a welder is necessary.
