In this role, you will be tasked with diagnosing and rectifying issues in heavy trucks promptly and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough inspections and diagnostic evaluations to assess vehicle conditions
  • Execute preventive maintenance and necessary repairs on heavy trucks
  • Conduct test drives to ensure optimal vehicle performance
  • Adhere to vehicle specifications and maintain accurate records
  • Ensure shop equipment remains functional
  • Enhance job knowledge through ongoing education and training
  • Collaborate within a team in a busy workshop environment

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in heavy truck maintenance
  • Ownership of tools up to 1/2" drive
  • Proficiency in diagnostics and ability to interpret schematics
  • High School diploma along with vocational training or certification
  • Strong technical acumen and problem-solving capabilities
  • Openness to learning and undergoing training
  • Effective communication skills and reliability
  • Flexibility to work varied hours
