Job Title: Director of Sales

Bay State Property Serv is seeking an experienced and results-driven Director of Sales to lead and manage a team of sales professionals as well as drive team culture. This position's primary responsibility is to generate net new recurring janitorial contract revenue within eastern Massachusetts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day oversight of outbound sales efforts
  • Expertise in territory management, strategic account development, and client negotiations
  • Hiring, training, and retaining a high-performance team
  • Ensuring the established sales process is followed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • 8-10 years of progressive experience in sales, with a demonstrated track record of success in achieving sales targets and managing a high-performing team
  • Demonstrated experience in business-to-business sales and sales management with a proven track record of success in face-to-face selling in a service-related industry
  • Proven expertise in territory management, strategic account development, and large/enterprise account strategy
  • Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of market dynamics and customer behavior
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract negotiations and RFP responses
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision making
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to hire, inspire, and motivate a sales team
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a strong commitment to continuous improvement
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics) and other sales analytics tools
