Position Overview:
This role involves a variety of responsibilities aimed at ensuring smooth operations within the clinic. Key duties include:
1) **Patient Interaction and Data Management:**
- Welcoming patients as they arrive and conducting interviews to gather essential demographic and billing information.
- Accurately entering and updating patient records in the electronic health record system.
- Generating daily schedules and managing encounter forms for efficient clinic operations.
2) **Communication and Scheduling:**
- Handling incoming patient calls with professionalism, addressing inquiries, and scheduling appointments as necessary.
- Routing calls to appropriate medical staff while adhering to clinical protocols.
3) **Financial Transactions:**
- Collecting payments at the time of service and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Ensuring compliance with managed care co-pay requirements and managing daily receipts.
4) **Administrative Support:**
- Assisting with patient complaints and providing backup support for other administrative functions within the clinic.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- A minimum of one year of relevant work experience in a healthcare setting, such as a medical office or hospital.
