Position Summary:

We are in search of a dedicated and licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) specializing in Adult Gerontology. This role is ideal for those who are passionate about providing personalized care to seniors and patients with complex health needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based medical care by assessing, planning, and evaluating patient health requirements.
  • Diagnose and manage chronic and acute health conditions, including minor injuries and illnesses.
  • Order and interpret necessary laboratory and diagnostic tests.
  • Collaborate with caregivers and healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive care plan.
  • Provide referrals to other medical practitioners as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records.

Qualifications:

  • Valid state Nurse Practitioner license.
  • Current National Board Certification for Nurse Practitioners.
  • Active state DEA registration.
  • Master's degree in Nursing (MSN).
  • A minimum of five years of nursing experience, with at least two years as a Nurse Practitioner preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management abilities and accountability for daily workflow.
  • Proficient in medical instruments and technology.
  • In-depth knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA regulations.
  • Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Valid driver's license with appropriate automobile insurance.
  • Ability to engage in moderate physical activities, including lifting and prolonged standing.
