Position Overview

As a Technical Solutions Consultant at Panther Labs, you will act as a reliable technical advisor for our clients and prospects. Your role will involve collaborating closely with customers to grasp their business needs and objectives, demonstrating how Panther can help achieve them.

In this position, you will oversee and facilitate the technology assessment and validation phases of the sales process, providing ongoing technical support and guidance throughout the customer journey. By leveraging solution selling techniques and adhering to architectural best practices, you will assist in building effective logging pipelines and managing detection-as-code, ensuring successful implementation and adoption of Panther's solutions for large-scale deployments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with clients in a technical advisory capacity throughout the entire customer lifecycle, including pre-sales, onboarding, technical support, and business evaluations.
  • Lead technical assessments and proof of value initiatives to successful outcomes.
  • Collaborate with sales and customer success teams to develop and implement strategies that surpass revenue objectives.
  • Establish strong relationships with clients to empower them as advocates for Panther.
  • Act as the client representative to other teams within Panther, including Product, Sales, and Marketing.
  • Continuously enhance your expertise in security engineering and detection and response.
  • Work alongside our support team to address complex technical challenges faced by clients.

Qualifications

  • Strong technical presentation and communication abilities.
  • Experience in a technical pre-sales role or as a security professional.
  • Familiarity with data pipelines, security logging, and frameworks.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing technologies and practices, particularly AWS.
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL for delivering enterprise-level solutions.
  • A collaborative mindset with a strong desire to tackle complex challenges with peers.
  • Experience in a rapidly growing startup environment is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The total cash compensation for this role is $200,000 OTE (75/25 pay split) USD annually. This includes base salary and on-target commission for eligible positions. Additionally, all full-time employees are eligible to participate in our equity plan, which includes Incentive Stock Options (ISO). Individual compensation packages are tailored based on various factors unique to each candidate, including location, experience, and expertise.
