Job Responsibilities and Qualifications

The Nurse Extern provides exceptional, patient-focused care by performing a range of delegated basic patient care tasks related to standard nursing functions and daily living activities. Under the guidance of a registered nurse (RN), the Nurse Extern supports the nursing team in delivering patient care aligned with their skills and training, while also helping to maintain a clean, organized, and safe patient care environment. The Nurse Extern must be currently enrolled and in good standing at an accredited nursing school and can undertake advanced procedures once competency is demonstrated.

  • Must be currently enrolled and in good standing in an accredited nursing program.
  • Minimum of 1 year of nursing education completed is preferred.
