We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Advanced Practice Registered Nurse/Family Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Florida Community Health Centers, Inc. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide primary care to patients through our mobile medical unit, addressing the health care needs of vulnerable populations in the communities we serve.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive primary care to patients, including physical exams, patient observations, and diagnosis.
- Order and administer diagnostic tests, as well as monitor and operate medical equipment.
- Develop and implement patient care plans, and contribute to existing plans as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, family members, physicians, and community representatives.
- Administer medicines and treatments, and evaluate responses to treatments and medications.
- Train patients and families on managing illness or injuries and disease prevention.
- Contribute to the improvement of office functioning, and perform other related duties as required or assigned by the Medical Director.
- Master's degree from an accredited nursing program.
- Florida RN Licensure and board certification by either ANCC or AANP.
- APN authorization in Florida to practice in Family Health by the Board of Nurse Examiners.
