As a Registered Nurse, you will be tasked with delivering exceptional, patient-focused care in accordance with departmental requirements and state-specific standards.
In collaboration with medical professionals and the care team, you will provide tailored, comprehensive, and compassionate care, adhering to established nursing frameworks such as 'Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.' You will also serve as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying the organization's vision, mission, and values to ensure an exemplary patient experience and favorable clinical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate patient conditions upon admission and throughout each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in status.
Execute procedures or functions as directed by the medical provider.
Document care administration in the patient medical record promptly and thoroughly.
Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses.
Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment utilized in the care of surgical and medical patients.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Nursing School.
Current State of Florida Registered RN License or recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements).
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Advanced certifications (e.g., CEN, TNCC) preferred.
A minimum of one year of experience as an RN in an acute care hospital setting.
Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training must be completed within 30 days of employment start date.
Background fingerprinting is required.
