Position Overview:

We are on the lookout for a highly proficient and seasoned Information Technology Operations Leader to supervise and direct the IT functions across multiple Winchester locations. This position demands a hands-on methodology, merging technical proficiency with CMMC Certification, designing and executing projects aimed at automating processes or enhancing all business systems, supporting daily IT operations, and ensuring the health and maintenance of our systems. The perfect candidate will be proactive, meticulous, and capable of guaranteeing the uninterrupted operation of our IT infrastructure while aligning with our strategic objectives. You will thrive in a dynamic, collaborative, and fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Over 10 years of experience in an IT leadership role.
  • Experience managing IT operations across multiple sites with varying priorities.
  • Proven track record in leading and executing IT projects and establishing IT infrastructures across diverse technologies.
  • Strong leadership capabilities and adeptness in managing several projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies, particularly Hyper-V and VMWare.
  • Understanding of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
  • Expertise in endpoint security deployment, ensuring endpoint protection, and device management policies.
  • Experience in managing ERP systems is essential.
  • Knowledge of security policy formulation and implementation in Active Directory.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure cloud environments (GCC High experience is advantageous).
  • Experience in developing and managing incident response strategies and recovering from security breaches.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, project management, and organizational skills.
  • Understanding of CMMC certification is beneficial; alternatively, experience with other compliance or security frameworks, such as NIST CSF and ITAR requirements.
  • Outstanding diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
  • CISSP - Certified Information Systems Security Professional Certification is a plus.

Accountabilities:

  • Provide essential support for critical systems, including internal communication tools, operational business tools, and proprietary platforms.
  • Develop and sustain local networks and systems to optimize performance while ensuring the security and privacy of all networks and computer systems.
  • Oversee contracts with vendors (e.g., development platforms, telecommunications providers, password management solutions) and software licenses.
  • Analyze and implement organizational integrations, processes, and systems.
  • Maintain and test business continuity, disaster recovery, and IT-related policies to ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Responsible for IT strategy and budgeting.
  • Oversee the technical implementation of requirements necessary to address control gaps and fulfill compliance for the Department of Defense (DOD) Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC).

  • Identify the specific nature of user challenges and provide effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal and external resources to resolve issues promptly.
  • Listen to employees describe incidents, determine probable causes, and logically pursue the best course of action.
  • Develop and document procedures utilized by site employees as part of the training library.
  • Enhance personal knowledge of the business and technical environment to improve first-call resolution rates.
  • Build partnerships with employees by consistently demonstrating expertise and professionalism.

Pay Transparency:

Winchester Electronics is committed to pay transparency. The pay range for this position is $90k to $115k. The exact salary will depend on your experience, education, skills, and other factors considered relevant to the hiring decision.
