Job Overview

Position: Compensation and Benefits Analyst

Company: Siri InfoSolutions Inc

Contract Duration: 13 weeks, with strong possibility of extension

Required Experience:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience, including a background in payroll accounting is essential. Experience in the healthcare sector is preferred.
  • Prior exposure to payroll and timekeeping systems is necessary (experience with ADP and UKG is advantageous).

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Comprehensive understanding of Federal and State Wage and Hour Laws, including accurate overtime calculations, the impact of bonuses on non-exempt employees, and penalty pay calculations typical in healthcare environments.
  • Strong familiarity with federal and state payroll tax regulations.
  • Recent experience with editing timecards in hospital settings using Kronos.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles related to payroll processing.
  • Capability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects concurrently, with flexibility to adapt priorities as needed.
  • Ability to interpret, clarify, and adhere to collective bargaining agreements, relevant laws, rules, regulations, and procedures.
  • Understanding of organizational structures, roles, and responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in maintaining precise payroll records.
  • Skill in performing mathematical calculations swiftly and accurately.
  • Aptitude for identifying, analyzing, and rectifying discrepancies.
  • Competence in creating spreadsheets and related documentation.
  • Ability to analyze information or procedures, define issues or objectives, formulate logical conclusions, and recognize alternatives and their implications.
  • Familiarity with payroll database systems (ADP or UKG preferred).
  • Knowledge of the KRONOS time and attendance system.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel).

Minimum Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required. A Bachelor's Degree in business or a related field is preferred, along with college credits in accounting.

Additional Requirements: CPP Certification is preferred.
