Clinical Laboratory Operations Director

Northwell Health seeks a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Laboratory Operations Director to lead the development and operations of Clinical Laboratories. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical laboratory operations, leadership, and management.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic plans for clinical laboratory operations
- Lead a team of clinical laboratory professionals to ensure efficient and compliant operational performance
- Coordinate resources across multiple administrative disciplines and functions
- Develop and articulate a short-term strategic vision for clinical laboratory operations
- Implement policies, standards, and procedures to support clinical laboratory operations services
- Select, develop, manage, and evaluate direct and indirect reports
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Current License to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist in New York State required, plus specialized certifications as needed
- 4 years of technical experience required, 0-2 years of leadership/management experience preferred
- 6 plus years of technical experience preferred
- 4 plus years of leadership in clinical laboratory leadership experience preferred
