Patient Access Representative II

As a Patient Access Representative II, you will play a critical role in ensuring that patients receive the best possible care by registering them accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Obtain and verify patient information for registration, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Register patients and perform all registration-related functions, including explaining and obtaining necessary patient consents and authorizations.
- Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and colleagues in person and by phone, email, or fax.
- Request payment of financial responsibility from patients and refer them to financial assistance programs when applicable.
- Maintain accurate records of authorizations and complete Medicare Secondary Payer Questionnaires as required.
- Support and participate in departmental data collection, analysis, and reporting efforts as required by internal and external compliance regulations.
- Experience in healthcare, customer service, or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of community resources and medical terminology is a plus.
- Must possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
