Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive IT Project Coordinator to enhance our Project Management Office (PMO) team. In this position, you will work closely with the PMO Manager and play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of IT projects from start to finish. The Project Coordinator will collaborate with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders to guarantee that all project specifications are fulfilled, timelines are respected, and schedules are upheld to ensure timely project completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in crafting and overseeing project plans, schedules, and timelines.
  • Coordinate and monitor tasks and activities among team members and clients.
  • Identify potential risks and challenges that may affect project delivery.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, meeting notes, and change requests.
  • Ensure project documentation is systematically organized and accessible to team members.
  • Report project risks and outcomes to relevant channels and escalate issues as per the project work plan.
  • Track and manage project tasks, ensuring timely and within-scope completion of all activities.
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to accommodate changing requirements.
  • Facilitate effective communication among project stakeholders, including technical teams, clients, and management.
  • Prepare and present regular project status reports, emphasizing key milestones, risks, and issues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in project coordination, preferably in an MSP or technical setting.
  • Familiarity with IT service management and cloud services is advantageous.
  • Self-starter with strong motivation.
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Prior experience in IT environments is a plus.
